Magnetic Thermometer

Caltech Instruments Pvt Ltd offers CES 296 - Magnetic Surface Thermometer. It is a compact, easy-to-use temperature gauge designed for measuring the surface temperature of ferrous metal equipment. Equipped with a strong built-in magnet, it attaches securely to pipes, tanks, ducts, machinery, and other metal surfaces, providing fast and reliable temperature readings. It is specifically designed to measure surface temperature before painting / coating applications. It can use on any horizontal surface or held magnetically to any magnetic surface. These has high temperature magnet at bottom that act as the thermometers base and hold the instrument in place on magnetic surfaces. The bimetallic of the gauge sensor is located in a draft shield and is in virtual thermal contact with the surface to be measured. This gives the instrument a relatively quick response time. The thermometer reaches sensing equilibrium (stability) within three minutes. The thermometers are based on a bimetallic strip and therefore, do not require batteries.
