Bresle Patches

Caltech Instruments Pvt Ltd offers CES-06 Bresle Patches for Bresle Test Kit. The bresle test patches to test for chloride and soluble salt surface contaminants on blasted surfaces in compliance with ISO 8502-6 & ISO 8502-9. Easy to use, pour 10mls of distilled water into the beaker and determine the conductivity using the conductivity meter. Take a Bresle Patch and apply to the test surface. Fill the syringe with 2.5mls of test water and insert through the adhesive foam into the test chamber. Inject the contents, then extract back into the syringe. Repeat ten cycles of injecting and extracting, then transfer the test water back into the beaker. 

Test results are based on expression of results are based on section 7 of ISO 8502-9 and NACE SP0508 Specification. Multiply the readings by 0.1 to give the quantity of salts in μg/cm² also known as ppm, or by 1 for the quantity of salts mg/m². Multiply mg/m2 reading by 0.60 to obtain the concentration of chloride level in mg/m². Multiply μg /cm² reading by 0.06 to obtain the concentration of chloride level in μg/cm²
